From biking around the island to one more beach day or that final ice cream cone of the season, this long weekend offers the chance to make a few more memories.
Hit the Beach
It’s probably the reason you came to the island. Hilton Head has miles of beaches like the popular oceanfront Coligny Beach Park, Driessen Beach Park with its winding boardwalk, and Historic Mitchelville Park with its rustic setting and nature trails. Visit a few of our beaches to experience the breadth of Lowcountry coastal landscapes.
Cruise Around
With more than 60 miles of paved, multi-use public pathways and 12 miles of beach biking, Hilton Head offers the freedom to pedal the day away. Make your ride even smoother when you rent a cruiser from us and choose your favorite route from our list of maps + resources.
Go Farther on a E-Bike
If you have a longer off-beach ride in mind, you can get almost anywhere faster and easier on an electric bike. Get the extra boost to carry you into your post-summer responsibilities, but for one last weekend, just enjoy the ride.

Whether amateur, pro or complete novice, Hilton Head has a course suited to any level of golfer. In fact, there are 26 gorgeous and green championship courses to choose from. For a lighter golfing adventure, go mini and head to Pirate’s Island Adventure Golf, Legendary Golf, or Adventure Cove Mini Golf & Arcade.

Sea Pines Racquet Club offers professional tennis demonstrations each Monday, including Labor Day. This could be your chance to change your game by learning valuable tips while enjoying complimentary refreshments.
HarbourFest Finale
When it’s time to wind down a day with the kiddos, head over to Shelter Cove Harbour for family-friendly entertainment. Cappy the Clown and Parrot Palooza with Shannon Tanner & The Oyster Reefers perform live at Harbourfest Labor Day Saturday and Sunday.
Take in the Tunes
For live music on Hilton Head Island, look to Sea Pines Resort and take your pick. Coast and Quarterdeck have nightly performances from 4 to 7 p.m., while Harbourside keeps the music flowing from 5 to 8 p.m.
